Every journey with Novial Nomad begins with a promise: to craft experiences that linger in memory, blending adventure, comfort, and local insight. We specialize in designing personalized inbound and outbound tours that go beyond the ordinary. Wherever your path takes you, Novial Nomad ensures that every detail is thoughtfully arranged, so you can focus on the joy of exploration. In these Terms & Conditions, the term “Novial Nomad” refers to our company and its authorized representatives.

1. Confirming Your Journey

Booking with Novial Nomad is the first step of your adventure. Your reservation becomes confirmed and a binding agreement exists once we receive your deposit and issue written confirmation.

  • Deposit Requirement: 30% of your total booking is required to secure your reservation.
  • Final Confirmation: Issued within 48 hours once all arrangements are finalized.
  • Balance Payment: Due 30 days prior to departure.
  • Accuracy: Traveler names must exactly match passport details. Report discrepancies
    immediately to your Tour Executive.

Payment of the deposit signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment & Pricing

We believe in clear and transparent pricing:

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable.
  • All payments are exclusive of bank charges, card fees, or applicable taxes.
  • Rates remain fixed once booked.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require 100% upfront payment.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

By Clients

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
  • Airline tickets and visa fees are governed by the respective providers.

By Novial Nomad

  • Occasionally, unforeseen events may force cancellations.
  • We provide suitable alternatives or refunds in such situations, ensuring your travel plans are
    disrupted as little as possible.

We uphold complete transparency—no hidden fees or surprise charges.

4. Changes to Your Itinerary

Changes by Novial Nomad

Even the best-laid plans may need adjustment. In unavoidable circumstances, we may modify itineraries while preserving the original experience and quality. Emergency accommodation or transport changes will always be handled thoughtfully.

Changes Requested by Clients

We strive to accommodate requests whenever possible. Any modifications after confirmation may incur additional costs and are subject to availability.

Information Accuracy

  • From Novial Nomad: We provide accurate and current information. Temporary local conditions (maintenance, power outages, seasonal closures) may affect services.
  • From Clients: You are responsible for providing complete and accurate personal and travel information. Data is handled confidentially per our privacy policies.

5. Customer Care & Complaints

Your satisfaction is at the heart of what we do.

  1. Notify your local representative immediately if an issue arises.
  2. If unresolved, contact Novial Nomad via email within 24 hours.

Timely reporting ensures we can respond swiftly and fairly.

6. Travel Essentials Checklist

Before your journey, please ensure you have:

  • Confirmed flight details
  • Valid passports, visas, and travel insurance
  • Necessary documents, currency, and licenses

A little preparation ensures a seamless travel experience.

7. Special Requests

Special touches make your journey unique. Communicate your preferences at the time of booking and confirm via email. While we strive to fulfill all requests, they cannot be guaranteed and are not part of the formal contract.

8. Force Majeure

Novial Nomad is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters or extreme weather
  • Political unrest or terrorism
  • Strikes or industrial action
  • Government actions

Your safety remains our priority, and we will manage such events responsibly.

9. Independent Travel Arrangements

If you book only part of your journey with Novial Nomad, we are not responsible for independently arranged components such as transport, excursions, or accommodation.

10. Insurance

All travelers must carry valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings. Insurance safeguards both you and your travel companions.

11. Health & Fitness Requirements

Travelers must ensure they are fit to travel. Certain situations may require additional documentation:

  • Travelers with pre-existing medical conditions
  • Travelers aged 70 or older
  • Pregnant travelers (beyond 24 weeks may be restricted)

12. Liability & Negligence

Novial Nomad is responsible only for services directly arranged by the company. Liability is limited to cases of proven negligence.

13. Personal Loss or Injury

In the event of illness, injury, or loss, we will provide reasonable assistance in coordination with your travel insurance provider.

14. Price & Accommodation Guarantee

  • Prices remain fixed after booking, except for government-imposed changes.
  • Confirmed accommodations cannot be changed without availability. Additional charges may apply for requested modifications.

15. Shopping & Local Products

Items purchased during your journey are the responsibility of the client. Novial Nomad does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, or pricing of local goods.

16. Third-Party Information & References

Information on our website and materials may include sources such as:

• Travel guides, review platforms, and official accommodation sites

While we strive for accuracy, Novial Nomad cannot guarantee absolute reliability of third-party information.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable Sri Lankan law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Sri Lanka.
